This is the first in a series of how to tips and tricks to sell your home. My hope is that by using my years of experience in design and real estate I can help people from feeling overwhelmed. All of my sellers get a list and if we get through most of it we are very well positioned when hitting the market. Price, condition and location…I can only help with the first two. Many of these things will also be good to help make your home feel welcoming and are not exclusive to selling.

Entryway Décor
The entryway is a hello to your home. There are limitless ways to change up your property. I will be showing my entry but any of my tips work for other entryways. In the case of a center-hall colonial you will work with the corner near the stairs. The scents and diffuser I mention are linked below. I hope you enjoy the variety of options. I am going to start with my oldest favorite because it is the one we would ride our bikes to when we first moved to Hunterdon County NJ. Gronsky’s Milk House makes the best egg sandwich and their pancakes are huge. Our 1st time there we had to move to a larger table when the food came out….a hearty breakfast for sure!
Super friendly staff and great service make Gronsky’s an easy pick on my Top 5 Breakfast Places in Hunterdon County. Get there early, it gets busy on the weekends and you may need to wait for a table. It’s worth it! Check out their website – Gronsky’s Milk House

When you can’t make up your mind, what you want is the Spinning Wheel Dinner. With a large menu, great food and friendly staff, it’s another one of my top 5 breakfast places in Hunterdon County, NJ. If the weather is nice the Sky Café is good fun. Who doesn’t like watching the planes and helicopters take off and land at the Alexandria Airport while eating a hearty breakfast. With its seasonal outdoor seating and delicious food. There is always a great new special to try. Having lived in Paris I am very particular about my French pastry. There is only one that comes close and that is the Sweet Melissa Patisserie. There is a window for the kids big and small to watch the flaky croissants being made. The Sweet Melissa Patisserie has won numerous awards in New Jersey for their great breakfast options. The last one on the list is a friendly little place in Milford, NJ called Ma-De-Chat. It looks like you’re going into someones home for breakfast. Our first time there the hostess said there was a wait unless we wanted to join another couple who wouldn’t mind. We had breakfast that morning with a lovely couple who lived in town.
