How Important Is Photography In Real Estate Listings?

Professional real estate photography may be one of the most important steps in getting your home sold fast and for top dollar. Digital retailing is now the norm in real estate marketing, like most other types of retail sales these days. As a result, your home has to stand out online and get in front of the right buyers. Professional photography is the place to start.Kitchen7 Large

I include professional photography with every home I list for sale. I’ve had great success with night photography as the primary photo as well. These shots stand out on the GSMLS, Zillow, Realtor.com and other online listing services. Online clicks lead to inquiries and inquiries lead to showings. Before I have your property photographed, I can also include a checklist of design ideas and help stage an empty home if need be.

Whether you decide to list your home with me or not, make sure the real estate agent your using is going to take professional photos of your home. I’m still amazed at how many realtors and agents are using their cellphones to photograph their listings. Even with the improvements in cellphone cameras, you can’t capture the lighting and detail Spare Largeneeded to make a room really stand out. Most of my interior photos are shot in stacks, then processed into HDR (high dynamic range) images. HDR images have higher luminosity values and appear more similar to human sight making them stand out from the crowd online.
